APPEARANCE: Bright cherry red.
NOSE: Aromas of wild raspberry balanced with a savoury complexity and black pepper spice on the palate.
PALATE: Wild raspberry fruit balanced with a savoury complexity and black pepper spice on the palate. Good palate weight and fine tannin structure with persistent ripe cherry fruit on the finish. Oak character adds depth, elegance, and lasting complexity.
STYLE: Dry with good fruit concentration and easy to drink style of red wine.
FOOD PAIRING: charcuterie, roast meats and cheese.
GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Pinot Noir from Dijon and Spatburgunder still wine clones, hand harvested.
VINEYARDS: Sourced from vineyards near the River Crouch in Essex below 55m altitude.
