Now it’s past Bonfire Night it’s officially time to start Christmas shopping – and that goes for festive drinks for yourself as well as gifts for your loved ones.
Winter favourites
With so many award-winning drinks here at Lyme Bay Winery we’ve helped by whittling down our selection to a few tried-and-tested winter favourites.
Lovers of traditional Christmas flavours will certainly warm to our fruity Christmas Pudding Wine. It doesn’t contain a silver sixpence but has everything else you’d wish from a classic pud – deliciously rich and so similar to Christmas Pudding you must taste to believe it.
On the subject of favourites we have to mention mead. Our Christmas Mead uses our finest mead gently blended with Christmas spices to fashion a perfectly smooth and mellow festive tipple.
When it comes to Mulled Wine, ours is not your run-of-the-mill blend. We’ve combined our Damson and Elderberry Wine with festive spices to create (what we think is) the tastiest mulled wine in the country. And if you’re catering for thirsty revellers our 3ltr Mulled Wine bag-in-a-box serves 24 glasses of the delicious concoction. Heat gently and serve warm for an instant injection of liquid Christmas.
Sip something new
Sometimes you’ve got to branch out and discover something you haven’t tried before. We’ve got just the thing – in a can!

Late night shopping
For those of you lucky enough to live near us in Devon’s beautiful Axe Valley, we’re hosting a late-night shopping event on Friday 6 December in the Winery Shop. We’re open all day from 10am but the main Christmas vibes will be from 5pm-7.30pm.
Stop by for a warming cup of our delicious mulled wine while you taste your way through our range of Lugger Rum, gin, English still and sparkling wine, fruit wine, cider, mead and liqueurs as you do a spot of Christmas shopping. You can also pick the brains of our drinks experts who’ll be delighted to give you some drinks suggestions to go with your festive menu planning.
