Made from 100% Bacchus grapes, this fresh and zesty wine has a range of characteristics including grapefruit, guava, box wood and a hint of blackcurrant. Best served lightly chilled.


Ideal conditions after the 2018 summer heatwave produced a near perfect growing season. A prolonged spell of hot weather followed by very little rain enabled grapes to fully ripen on the vine, resulting in intense flavour and body.

2018 Sandbar blend included fruit from Sussex and Essex and were fermented in individual lots at temperatures ranging from 12°C to 17°C, with selected yeast strains. After racking, the wines were left to age on fine lees for 12 weeks before selection, blending and bottling early in 2019


Clear, pale lemon/light straw in colour.

NOSE: Clean, zingy grapefruit, lemon and lime, orange peel, and a hint of blackcurrant and elderflower.

PALATE: Medium body, Sandbar is a fresh and zesty wine with a crisp, balanced acidity and great structure.

STYLE: Aromatic medium dry white.
