When it gets to February our thoughts turn to love here at Lyme Bay Winery. If you are wining and dining someone special this Valentine’s Day then serving up our delicious, award-winning pink drinks can help you hit the mark, just like Cupid’s arrow.
NV Sparkling Rosé
For those of you for whom Valentine’s Day drinks mean a glass – or two! – of something bubbly, our classy Sparkling Rosé made from Pinot Noir grapes boasts a bright, fruit-driven palate of wild strawberries, pepper and redcurrant with a richness of honey and hints of brioche and almond.
A vibrant soft pink with steady fine bubbles, we are delighted that our NV Sparkling Rosé has most recently been awarded Gold in the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2020, adding to its already impressive trophy cabinet.
Another great match for fish dishes, it’s a light choice to serve alongside sushi and sashimi, mullet, tuna, tomato-based dishes, full-flavoured duck dishes, charcuterie, and desserts with red fruits.
Pinot Noir Rosé
Our delightful Rosé made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes is also a multi-award winner, taking Gold at the WineGB Awards 2018, Bronze at The International Wine Challenge 2019, and Silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2019.
With intense aromas of cherries, rosehip, strawberries and cream, our Pinot Noir Rosé is full bodied with great acidity, making it an ideal food wine, best served very lightly chilled.
Pink Grapefruit Gin
Our mouth-watering Pink Grapefruit Gin bursts with the flavours of pink grapefruit, orange peel and lime alongside the more delicate botanical aromas of juniper and elderflower.
This zesty gin is a beautiful marriage of floral and citrus flavours and is spectacular poured over ice, or in a G&T garnished with a generous wedge of pink grapefruit or a sprig of rosemary.
Plum, Strawberry & Cherry Fruit Wines
If your sweetheart has a sweet tooth you can tantalise their tastebuds with a selection of our pink-hued fruit wines.
Lyme Bay Winery Plum Wine is a medium, rich, full-flavoured fruit wine with rounded plummy characteristics. This one is best served at room temperature to appreciate its wonderfully juicy notes and makes a perfect match with a fruity pudding.
Our award-winning Strawberry Wine is a medium, well-balanced fruit wine with a delicate strawberry aroma. Best served chilled or mix with your favourite soda and some fresh mint for a longer refreshing drink.
Another one best served at room temperature, our Lyme Bay Cherry Wine is a smooth, full-flavoured sweet wine with the aroma of real cherries and a hint of almond. Perfect on the rocks, it makes the ideal accompaniment to dark chocolate and rich desserts.

Long rumoured to have aphrodisiac properties, mead was historically presented to newlyweds to enjoy during what we now call their honeymoon – so much so that a bride’s father included a month’s worth of mead in her dowry.
Lyme Bay’s prize-winning meads are fermented, blended and aged on site using our secret blends of honey to create the rich, floral and pungent characteristics for which mead is famed. Our Black Cherry Mead is a beautiful combination of the sweet and tart flavours of honey and wild cherries, perfect served over ice, and pairs brilliantly with steak and rich, chocolatey puddings.
Crushed Pink Grapefruit & Pineapple Annings Cider
If apples are more your thing, our tart yet refreshing Crushed Pink Grapefruit & Pineapple Annings Cider is a perfectly balanced blend of sweet and tangy flavours. Best served cold in a tall glass for ultimate refreshment, this pink palate pleaser is a fruity alternative to the usual cider offerings on the market.
